Who is responsible for your data
Musivelle SIA, Blaumaņa iela 32-6, Centra rajons, Rīga LV-1011, is the controller of your personal information under UK data protection law. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect and why
| Information | Why we use it | Our lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, order number and payment status when you buy | To take your order, personalise and deliver your copy, email your link, give support and issue refunds | Performing our contract with you |
| The name you ask us to print on your copy, and the country you say you are buying from (and, briefly, the country your connection appears to be in) | To personalise your copy and to check that we may sell to your country. Details of a checkout you never complete are deleted after seven days | Performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in complying with trade rules |
| Download activity: when a link was used and how many downloads remain, and your network address for abuse protection | To enforce link limits, prevent misuse and keep the service secure | Our legitimate interests in protecting our work and service |
| Name, email and message sent through the contact form | To reply to you | Our legitimate interests in answering enquiries |
| Email address, if you tick the optional news box | To send occasional news about new lessons and books | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Order and payment records | To meet accounting and tax duties | Legal obligation |
We never see your full card number. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Stripe for payments and refunds.
- Cloudflare for hosting this website, storing your personalised file and order records, spam protection (Turnstile) and cookie-free visit statistics.
- An email delivery provider to send your download link and replies.
- Mailchimp, only if you ticked the optional news box, to send you news.
- YouTube, only when you press play on a video.
We do not sell your data. Some providers are based outside the UK; where that is so, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: 6 years, for accounting and tax.
- Download and abuse-protection data: up to 12 months.
- Contact messages: up to 2 years.
- News subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and every news email has an unsubscribe link. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
